The following articles were composed for a website catering to camps for kids and family-oriented travelling.

Boulder, Colorado

The amazing Boulder has been part of America since 1870, but today, offers modern and fun sights and places of interest for kids and adults alike. Whether you're here to learn about the town's incredible history or experience Boulder's fun and engaging hot spots, the memories you and your family share will be forever cherished.

Visit the discovery room at the Boulder History Museum to learn interesting facts about the town you're in, or venture out into space via the The Wonders of Science at Twenty-Ninth Street planetarium; Boulder is the start, but the final frontier has no limit!

If anybody in your family loves water or marine life, then the aquarium is a must-see. The Underwater Fish Observatory displays the many fish of the river interacting in their natural habitat. Also along the beautiful Boulder Creek is the Millennium Harvest House. After viewing the attractions along the creek, take your family to see the renowned Pop-Jet fountain at the Pearl Street Mall, complete with entertaining street performers that will surely make a lasting impression.

Boise City, Oklahoma

 If you're looking for an interesting and unique place to visit, then welcome to Boise City, Oklahoma! Part of the Dust Bowl, Boise City was the only town in America to be bombed during World War II. Nowadays, the city offers fascinating and historical attractions for its visitors who seek to uncover the town's incredible past.

Boise City prides itself in the historic artifacts and attractions offered to visiting families and its own population. Both past and modern exhibits exist. Some of these exhibits reflect times as far back as the dinosaurs. You and your family can see amazing attractions like Boise City's life-size, metal apatosaurus, once known as the “brontosaurus.” If that doesn't sate your family's love of paleontology, the Cimarron Heritage Center surely will. Not only does this attraction offer more exhibits on dinosaurs, but details the history of Cimarron county and the Santa Fe Trail.

You don't have to follow the yellow brick road to see lions and tigers and bears; all of these fascinating creatures, along with many others, can be seen via the different fun and engaging Boise City animal attractions. One of the most popular places for families in Boise City is the GW Exotic Animal Park. If you haven't seen a liger, then now is the time! Of course, if you want to see good, old-fashioned tigers, you can always take a Sundowner Tiger Safari.

This beautiful Oklahoma town has many natural attractions as well as those man-made. One such attraction is the Black Mesa State Park. The park contains several rare animal and plant species. Some such species can be found around the Carl Etling Lake, with a shoreline spanning five miles. If you're in the mood to hike, then Black Mesa State Park is the perfect stop for you and your kids.
